PE Milwaukee Filming Tuesday (Day one)

Today was day one of filming for PE in Milwaukee. On set today: Johnny Depp, Stephen Dorf, David Wenham, Jason Clarke, and Christian Stolte. ( That is who I saw)

There was a lot of filming going on inside the Milwaukee HIstorical Society(bank), and some on the street across the intersection from where I was standing. At about 7:30-8pm ish they called for quite on the set, and JD came out to test the running boards on the cars parked in front of the building. I did not see hom go back in, but he must have since a few minutes later he came racing out of the bank with 4 other guys in tow. The were carring guns and money bags. Some got in the car, but JD, and I think Stephen Dorf, got onto the running boards, and pointed their guns across the hood of the car. Then "cut"!

My friend Peg, and I, ran up to base camp to wait for JD. Stephen Dorf drove by and said hello then waved, and drove on. JD came by, but did not roll his window down. :(

Jerry came out at about 8:30pm and told everyone that JD would NOT be coming out tonight, but that there would be a meet and greet in the week. We stuck around to see JD leave, but he never came by. An hour later, we were told by security that JD had left already...secretly. Bummer.....we were all dissapointed, and one girl who had come from California was crying. I thought he would have at least waved to everyone as he left....but hey.....he was probobaly too tired. It is exhausting to do that day after day. Tomorrow I will be down there again, and I am going to take my better camera. Hopefully I can get some great shots! here is what I have so far, and hopefully Peg has got some GREAT ones to show us too!
Sorry but some of these are blurry!!

UPDATE: I have gotten several emails inquiring about how the inside of the historical society looks like. I will post some pictures of the renovation, plus what they looked like in the early 1900's. I found these photograph's of the Historical Society on an old archive from milwaukee online, so sorry if they are not as clear as they could be.

This is what it looked like, and will hopefully look like once more

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Don't they look like a bunch of goofs standing with their bags of cash outside the bank?

Vicky--Thanks for sharing! I wanted to go to Milwaukee, but hubby said, "the kids have school in the morning". Ugh. I'm going to beg to go Thursday. Do you know if it is going to be a day or night shoot? Mostly I want to go to the meet and greet, since we never had that opportunity before.

It is going to be an afternoon into even shoot jerry said. But they don't know what time they will be finishing. He said could be 11pm, could be 5am.

Also we are supposed to have major thunderstorms on Thursday...so i hope it does not affect the shoot.

Maybe we can meet?
